Shadow Daggers in CS2: Skins, Cases & Prices
Which cases have the Shadow Daggers, which finishes you can get from each, and the cheapest way to own one.
What is the Shadow Daggers?
The Shadow Daggers is a pair of push daggers held one in each hand, the only dual knife in the game. It first appeared in the Shadow Case (2015) and drops from 5 cases in total. For comparable finishes it sits in the low price tier among CS2 knives. Like every knife it only exists as a rare special item: it drops from a handful of cases or comes out of a Covert-to-knife trade up.
Which cases drop the Shadow Daggers?
| Case | Finish set | Finishes |
|---|---|---|
| Dreams & Nightmares Case, Operation Riptide Case | Gamma finishes | Gamma Doppler, Lore, Autotronic, Black Laminate, Bright Water and Freehand |
| Spectrum 2 Case, Spectrum Case | Chroma finishes | Doppler, Marble Fade, Tiger Tooth, Damascus Steel, Rust Coat and Ultraviolet |
| Shadow Case | original finishes | Vanilla, Fade, Case Hardened, Crimson Web, Slaughter, Blue Steel, Stained, Night (Night Stripe on newer knives), Urban Masked, Forest DDPAT, Scorched, Boreal Forest and Safari Mesh |
The finish set decides which skins you can get: a Doppler or Marble Fade Shadow Daggers only comes from cases with Chroma finishes.

How to get a Shadow Daggers
- Buy it: the cheapest way to get a specific finish and float.
- Knife trade up: five Covert skins from one of the cases above give a random item from that case's pool, which may or may not be a Shadow Daggers. Check the odds in the knife trade up calculator.
- Unbox it: about 0.26% per case for any knife, and the pool is shared with other knives, so this is the most expensive route on average.
Picking a finish
Budget finishes (Safari Mesh, Boreal Forest, Scorched, Forest DDPAT, Urban Masked) are the cheapest way into a Shadow Daggers. Fade, Doppler, Marble Fade, Case Hardened and Crimson Web sit at the top, and specific phases or patterns can multiply the price. More in the most expensive CS2 knives and the cheapest CS2 knives.
