Kukri Knife in CS2: Skins, Cases & Prices
Which cases have the Kukri Knife, which finishes you can get from each, and the cheapest way to own one.
What is the Kukri Knife?
The Kukri Knife is one of the newest CS2 knives, added in 2024 with the Kilowatt Case, with a forward-curved machete-style blade. It first appeared in the Kilowatt Case (2024) and drops from 2 cases in total. Like every knife it only exists as a rare special item: it drops from a handful of cases or comes out of a Covert-to-knife trade up.
Which cases drop the Kukri Knife?
| Case | Finish set | Finishes |
|---|---|---|
| Kilowatt Case, Gallery Case | original finishes | Vanilla, Fade, Case Hardened, Crimson Web, Slaughter, Blue Steel, Stained, Night (Night Stripe on newer knives), Urban Masked, Forest DDPAT, Scorched, Boreal Forest and Safari Mesh |
The finish set decides which skins you can get: a Doppler or Marble Fade Kukri only comes from cases with Chroma finishes.

How to get a Kukri Knife
- Buy it: the cheapest way to get a specific finish and float.
- Knife trade up: five Covert skins from one of the cases above give a random item from that case's pool, which may or may not be a Kukri. Check the odds in the knife trade up calculator.
- Unbox it: about 0.26% per case for any knife, and the pool is shared with other knives, so this is the most expensive route on average.
Picking a finish
Budget finishes (Safari Mesh, Boreal Forest, Scorched, Forest DDPAT, Urban Masked) are the cheapest way into a Kukri. Fade, Doppler, Marble Fade, Case Hardened and Crimson Web sit at the top, and specific phases or patterns can multiply the price. More in the most expensive CS2 knives and the cheapest CS2 knives.
